Do you think friends of the opposite sex are better?

If you're a girl, do you think having a male friend is better than having a female friend, and if you're a guy, do you think having a female friend is better than a male friend, or would you just stick to the same sex?

Well, as a girl, I think that having a girl friend is more easy to relate to. you can talk about guys, shopping, nail polish, and have sleepovers.
with guys, i have a couple of guy friends, but not as a crush or anything. but its really cool to see a totally different perspective, and also, guys are waay more into sports, so i think that i prefer girl friends, but guy friends are cool too.
another thing is that guy friends are easier to talk to, and they don't form cliques or anything. but girl friends are your best friends, obviously.
p.s. if you're married, stay with the same sex. it could get icky.
